Sensitive skin and redness
Sensitive skin reacts quickly to products, weather or stress with stinging, tightness or redness. Fewer products, mild formulas and patience usually help more than another new launch.

How to choose
Cut back to the basics
A mild cleanser, a soothing moisturiser and sunscreen are often enough. Pause exfoliating acids, retinoids and scrubs while your skin feels irritated.
Calming ingredients
Centella asiatica, panthenol, heartleaf, oat and ceramides are common in formulas for reactive skin. Fragrance-free products remove one possible trigger; check the full ingredient list on each product page.
Test before you use it all over
Apply a little of a new product to a small area, such as beside your ear, for several days. No reaction? Then start using it on your face, one new product at a time.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between sensitive and sensitised skin?
Some people have naturally reactive skin. Others make their skin temporarily sensitive with too many actives or over-cleansing; that usually settles once the routine is simplified.
Is persistent redness rosacea?
Not necessarily, but redness that does not go away, visible small blood vessels or bumps on the cheeks can point to rosacea. Have this assessed by your GP or a dermatologist.
Are Korean products suitable for sensitive skin?
Many Korean formulas are designed to be gentle, but suitability depends on the exact formula. Compare ingredient lists rather than relying on the country of origin.
