Oily and combination skin
Oily skin produces more sebum; with combination skin, mainly on the forehead, nose and chin. The aim is balance: cleanse without stripping and moisturise with textures that feel light.

How to choose
Don’t skip moisturiser
Skin stripped by harsh cleansers feels tight and often looks shinier later. A light gel or fluid moisturiser keeps it comfortable without a heavy layer.
Treat zones differently
With combination skin, you can use a BHA toner on the T-zone only and a slightly richer cream on dry cheeks. Your whole face does not need the same product.
Choose a sunscreen with a soft finish
Fluid and gel sunscreens from Korea and Japan often leave a satin or matte finish, which suits oily skin well, also under makeup.
Frequently asked questions
Does oily skin need fewer products?
Not necessarily fewer, but lighter ones. A cleanser, a light moisturiser and sunscreen form a good base; add a targeted product only if you need it.
Do cleansing oils suit oily skin?
Yes, oil dissolves sebum and sunscreen effectively. Follow with a mild water-based cleanser so no film remains.
Why does my skin get oilier in summer?
Heat and humidity increase sebum production. Switch to lighter textures in summer and back to a richer cream in winter if needed.
